A tempest appears in a cloud of roiling smoke and thunder, its mane, tail, and hooves wreathed in lightning. The creature's unearthly black form moves with supernatural speed, vanishing in a whirl of wind and sparks as quickly as it appeared.

Storm Steed. Also called a "Stormhorse" or "Steed of the Storms," the tempest serves as a steed for creatures of exceptional elemental power. It resembles a steed comprised of storm clouds trapped within a solid form, and a tempest's electric blue eyes betray its primordial intelligence.
A tempest can be summoned from the Elemental Plane of Air and displays a special, undying loyalty to the creature it serves.

Elemental Nature. A tempest doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
