This spell functions as telepathic bond, except it has unlimited range when cast.
Each target creature must carry a specially prepared item with a sequence of runic symbols on it. This item can be any kind of object, such as a pendant, piece of clothing, or a weapon, as long as it has a 1 sq. inch surface on which to inscribe the sequence. Inscribing such a sequence of runes costs 50 gp.
At the time of casting, if the target is not carrying an object with a runic sequence you know, they are excluded from the telepathic bond. Similarly, if the target is on another plane of existence, they're also excluded. In this case, you have no way of knowing whether the spell failed to include them, if they are unconscious, or if they simply don't want to communicate with you.
Material Component: Pieces of eggshell from two different creatures, and a bunch of copper wires, one for each subject, all tied together in a knot.
