Tarot Mage (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Tarot Mage[edit]
Sorcerer Subclass
Some claim that tarot cards hold power and knowledge. Others say it's just a trick used by fortune tellers to fool naive people. But few peoples are born with the power to read those tarot cards and use their power to their advantage. These chosen ones are called Tarot Mages and have combined their magical power with the Chaotic Tarot. (Note: To use this subclass, you must have a deck of tarot cards with you, including 56 Minor Arcana cards and 22 Major Arcana cards)
- Tarot Deck
At 1st level, you get a Tarot Deck of cards. This deck is bound to you. As a bonus action, you can cause it to appear in your hand. It will be summoned to you from any distance, even from other planes of existence. You gain proficiency in Intelligence (Arcana) skill. If you are already proficient in this skill, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with that. Your tarot deck counts as your spellcasting focus for your Tarot Mage spells.
- Minor Arcana
At 1st level, as a action you can draw from a deck of the Minor Arcana cards, which each contain a unique spell effect as shown on the Minor Arcana table. After drawing a card, you must cast the spell that the card grants you (if it's possible). The spell is cast in the lowest spell slot that the spell allows.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

- Tarot Expert
At 6th level, you gain ability to use your Metamagic on Minor Arcana spells and you regain any expended uses when you finish a short rest. Each time you draw Minor Arcana cards, you can once use mulligan and return the card(s), shuffle the deck and draw a new card(s).
- Major Arcana
At 14th level, as a action you can draw from a deck of the Major Arcana cards, which each contain a unique spells effect as shown on the Major Arcana table. After drawing a card, you roll a d4 to determine which of the spells you must cast. The spell is cast in the lowest spell slot that the spell allows.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
