Tapejara is one of the very few pterosaurs that is primarily herbivorous, only eating small prey when their normal citrus filled food sources are scarce. These colorful creatures is most commonly found in dense jungles, where it has plenty of fruits to feast on. They are typically very shy creatures, fleeing into the canopy at the first sign of danger. Tapejara are also much less commonly seen by humanoids, due to their nocturnal nature.
