I have some suggestions on how to bring this race closer to balance: Restrict Bio Healing to short rests and allow the zen'trath to spend Hit Dice instead of hit points. Restrict Consume Biomass to medium creatures, granting advantage on checks to pass as the creature consumed. Limit Parasitic Symbiosis to only work on willing targets, leaves the statistics of the host unaltered and you and the creature occupy the same space, similar to riding a mount. Incoming damage that only targets a single creature is shared evenly between you, but both host and Zen'Trath take normal damage from area attacks. The duration is limited to one minute, after which the creature takes the 2d10 acid damage and the bond ends. Add a 1d4 damage effect that damages a creature grappling or grappled by the zen'trath. Delete the second sentence of Re-shape. Delete the subraces paragraph.

This may not be sufficient to make for a balanced race, but i think it is a step in the right direction. My suggestions for Fluff would a focus on the paradoxes of a good or neutral zen'trath trying to find its place in the world, for example needing to digest a person to not be mistaken as a monster, having a horrifying appearance yet powers that can be used for good, like the Bio Healing. Speaking of Bio Healing, since it allows you to touch a creature without dissolving it, i would suggest rewriting the lore: Instead of acidic bodies, their membrane is coated by an extremely aggressive digestive fluid. They can hold it back for up to one minute, after which automated, pseudo-reflexive behavior reactivates it, similar to how you can not suffocate yourself by holding your breath.

I think both resistance to acid and unarmed acid damage is missing, but didn't think of them as essential features. The race is strong enough as it is.
