Talk:Yandere Healer (3.5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
At levels 5 & 9 the table doesn't reflect this part "When a Yandere Healer reaches 5th level, the penalty lessens to –1, and at 9th level it disappears." of the description. So, at 5th it should be +4/+4, at 9th +9/+9/+4, at 20th +20/+20/+20/+15/+10/+5.
Also the BAB progression is the same as a Fighter, which is better then the standard Monk. I'm fine with this, just double checking that was the intent. I've always felt the Monk should use the Fighter's BAB.
A bit OP[edit]
When I look at this class I cant help but think that the monk would be extinct in less than a year. Its stronger than a monk and better at healing than a Cleric or even a Favored soul get ever be. I really like the main idea of the class but I think this is way to strong, primarily getting to use empower maximize and quicken for free. also most normal classes have only one good safe or two wan they have other draw backs I don't see any drawbacks here besides the need for a high wisdom.
- Actually there are some big Draw Backs. First is the fact she that she can not use weapons, at any time. Where as a monk is able to use weapons in order to gain the benefits for any enchantments they might have, and they work with the monks abilities. Also, unlike a cleric, she is unable to gain access to a wider rage of spells. She is limited on when she is able to cast that makes her less versatile. However I do want to point out that this class is still a work in progress and is being Beta tested currently. If you have any suggestions please free to post them in the comments area. --Korminor (talk) 21:41, 19 April 2014 (MDT)
Wouldn't it be easier to make a special feat that allows someone to multiclass between a monk and a cleric than to go into this class?--63.142.67.85 14:15, 15 August 2015 (MDT)
