Wow, it's cool to see another 4e poster or user :D It looks fairly well balanced, although it would be nice to find some kind of story hook or power or feature to make it more useful broadly, although like the Tiefling +5 resistance to a particular element is not uncommon for races.

I realize that being a winter elf might be environment specific, but I tried to make some of the features be useful more broadly so it wouldn't just be specific to cold or winter environments. For example with the shifting power, I increased the distance they can shift normally, and then allowed them to shift over difficult snowy or icey terrain. It's slightly different from the elf but still useful outside of the cold. Also it's meant for one of my own specific campaigns. They're also meant to be similar or related to the Drow, hence the darkvision and also their cold resistance and connection to Dwarves in caves. Jarlaxle (talk) 09:39, 7 March 2024 (MST)
