Talk:Weapon of Choice (3.5e Feat)

Prerequisite[edit]

I feel this Feat should at least have the following requirements: Strength 10, Desterity 10, Weapon Focus.

The reason is because in order to distribute BAB from being an Attack Bonus to a Damage Bonus, you will have to be able to strike much harder (Strength) and have better aim (Dexterity). Likewise, if you apply it to your AC you must be able to menuver your weapon in front of attacks (Effectively using it as a shield; Dexterity). Lastly it is clear that you've gained some amazing knowledge on the handle of your weapon, therefore it should be a weapon you are proficent with (Weapon Focus).

If I'm reading the feat right (and who knows, with wording like "you find half your Base Attack bonus"), it works like this: I'm a level 10 fighter. My BAB is +10/+5. I assume this only applies to the +10. I can have a bonus of +5 to attack rolls, or +5 to damage rolls, or anywhere in between.
Compare with SRD:Power Attack.
This feat needs to be rewritten. Marasmusine (talk) 15:32, 16 August 2013 (MDT)
Sorry. I though I had written it more clearly. I'll try to revise it soon. Thanks for the suggestion about prerequisites. Sir Dinadan, 22:16 August 2013
There. Hope that's better.--Sir Dinadan (talk) 19:16, 18 August 2013 (MDT)
