Talk:Way of Enlightenment (5e Subclass)

So I noticed that there are a few things kindof off. First, the fact that the base Life Raiment is just flat out worse than fire. Also, I admittedly feel that the bonuses the raiments get may be a lot for level 3, despite the high-ish cost. I tmay be worth loverint the summoning cost a bit and nerfing the initial raiments. Perhaps they can get upgrades at higher levels. Making the attacks count as magical is pointless. All the attacks while in raiment already do force damage, so making them magical means nothing. I also thought it was worth noting that not all of the enlightened raiments feel particularly balanced either. For example, Light has an interesting effect, but one that you can likely only use once, maybe twice before you're essentially out of ki. Not that the ability is bad, but its not quite worth the cost of putting on the raiment and then using the ability as well (25 ki points). I really enjoy the subclass's flavor, but I feel that its balancing between the raiments could really use some work. It would also be nice to have it clearly stated that you can only choose a certain number which you have access to.

You make good points, Mysterious Individual. I'll have to give it another pass; I haven't been active recently, and I have more experience with it now. Thanks!--Max7238 (talk) 13:46, 9 July 2019 (MDT)
