Talk:Vile Fungus (4e Creature)
From D&D Wiki
Tactics/Lore[edit]
As with many 4e monster entries I have fused the individual Tactics and Lore for each creature under Vile Fungus Tactics and Lore. While they could be broken down under individual entries it seems like it would be redundant. Although if someone else has any ideas please put them forward. -- Sepsis 11:30, 19 October 2009 (MDT)
- I think having each entry have it's own tactics and lore is standard - or do you know what the 4e books do in general? --Green Dragon 21:39, 19 October 2009 (MDT)
- Actually lore entries for monsters are only broken down for each sub-entry if the creatures vary in origin and/or behavior enough to warrent. If you look at Cyclops, Beholders, Dark Ones, Formorians, Foulspawns, among many others, you will see they use a singular "Lore" entry for the entire article. This is because the sub-types are all close enough in origin and behavior that they creating individual entries would be redundant. More often you will see seperate tactic entries because most monster sub-types do hunt/battle vastly different from one another, while with these (Vile Fungus) thier predatory behavior is similar enough that creating seperate entries for each sub-type would be as redundant as has having seperate (yet identical) entries. -- Sepsis 22:06, 19 October 2009 (MDT)
Encounter Groups[edit]
I will work on Encounter Groups for these as time permits. I posted these so long ago that I'm currently working other projects and so it may take some time before I get back to them...again any input from fellow users would be welcome. -- Sepsis 11:30, 19 October 2009 (MDT)
Shrieker[edit]
This might function better as a trap/hazard. Just my immediate thought. -- Techpriest 01:34, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
