Fair enough. Also, i noticed they don't have reach, as most bears do not, I'll assume that intentional, however, bite attacks usually apply 1/2 str damage. 2/3'a of the bears in the MM have improved grab with their bites, and all have scent and low-light vision, are there any plans to add these Special Qualities? --Ganre 22:48, 11 May 2008 (MDT)

The bite is something i certainly missed as well as thinking about scent. Those are definitely bases i need to cover and i appreciate you pointing these out. As for scent specifically though, I'm not sure. The way i've always played it out in my campaign is that if they wanted scent, the option was there, however, they had to spend a feat to get it. I appreciate you pointing these issues out.
