Quick Question[edit]
Why is this a piece of Adventuring Gear, rather than a mundane or magical weapon? --Ref3rence (talk) 09:04, 5 June 2019 (MDT)
- I made it that way because the items rules break so many conventions regarding how weapons function and attacks using weapons are made that I didn't feel comfortable labeling it as such. Based Quincy (talk) 23:36, 5 June 2019 (MDT)
Some feedback:
- It needs to say what ability modifier is used for the attack. Dexterity is the default only if something makes a ranged weapon attack (whereas this is just a ranged attack).
- However, consider a fixed attack bonus, like a siege engine. While this isn't a siege engine, if I'm reading the description right, it does have self-powered flight ("anti-gravity flight", and the throwing range of 120 feet).
- Is the extra 4d6 damage on a roll of 20 in addition to the normal extra damage you would normally deal on a critical hit with an attack? Marasmusine (talk) 02:40, 6 June 2019 (MDT)
