Talk:Tychomancer (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
I think this is probably still in progress, but here's my review-in-progress
- Spellcasting feature is not fully explained (when and how are spells learned, it has cantrips as 1st level spells, starts with an arcane focus but then this isn't mentioned
- Strong spellcasting and good AC and martial ranged
- "You can cast true strike at any given time" - what does this mean? Does it just mean you know that cantrip, or does it mean you can cast it in the middle of someone else's turn?
- Is "basic entropy curse" supposed to be a spell? Please add it using the button at 5e Spells, it is missing information.
- "roll in combat" should be "role in combat"
- "At level two, enemies have disadvantage on attack rolls against you. You gain advantage on attack rolls with ranged weapons." - Advantage is supposed to be a circumstantial benefit: you get it sometimes (or on a subset of things), not all the time. This trait is hugely overpowered. Same goes for Aura of Luck, Happy go Lucky, etc.
- No, you don't get to cast cure wounds at will. Think about what would happen during short rests.
- That's for starters. Marasmusine (talk) 03:24, 24 December 2016 (MST)
