Hey all!
So this homebrewed background sprouted from the realization that I couldn't find too many "basic" backgrounds. The majority of the backgrounds on this site are either extremely specialized (Armed Escort, Mystic) or extravagant (Child of a War Deity, Dark Lord). There are a handful that I appreciate, such as Cook, Barber, and Janitor (which, I will DEFINITELY be using Janitor in a campaign soon!), but I wanted to add on to the number of simple backgrounds. There wasn't a Teacher or Mentor, so I stepped up and attempted one. I think next on my plate may be a Commoner background? But that may be too simple, and the specializations of that background should just be their own separate backgrounds imo. We'll see.
