Talk:Token of the Damned (5e Equipment)

This item conflicts with the guidelines of not making an item activate without intentionally attuning to it. In addition its effect is very hard to cure and debilitating, another thing that goes against the guideline. However it makes sense from a certain point, since devils and demons don't play fair. I would suggest to place a design disclaimer and raising its rarity, so a character is on an level where they can adequately interacted with the item and fight the devils of and are able to rescue the affected character from hell. I am against nerfing its effects, since the theme of a very dangerous devilish trick will be lost otherwise.
