Hah, yes, it was partially your cool pieces of equipment, but also I've been meaning for a while now to do an updated version of the tinker gnome invention rules from the 1e Dragonlance book.

Any suggestions are welcome (for example, are there any sections that are confusing?) , bearing in mind the golden rule that tinker gnome projects are largely doomed to failure :)

I was considering making things such as a clockwork servant (similar to the unseen servant) and a hovering sentry (similar to those in Bioshock) and making them creatures with stats. I haven't tied this in with a tool proficiency, I assume that tinker gnomes can just do this stuff. I'm not sure yet about non-gnome characters, Dragonlance didn't allow it, I've made a feat for now that will let them. Marasmusine (talk) 05:54, 26 June 2015 (MDT)
