This subclass is definitely unbalanced and the text is probably poorly written, but I'd like to hear your opinion on that. What should I change and correct to fix it?
- Here are some of my suggestions:
- Way of Genjutsu: The cost in ki for each spell should be at least 1 ki point per level of the spell, increasing the cost of Phantasmal Killer to 4 and mislead to 5. Also, this class shouldn't have spells higher than 5th-level spells, so you could remove project image.
- Taijutsu and Bukijutsu: Ninja Techniques are fine.
- Shurikenjutsu: No problems with this too, although i believe that the damage for the shadow shurikens should be equal to the martial arts die, instead of a fixed d4. Probably martial arts die + Dexterity modifier. Also, you should probably add a clause "You don't need to spend extra ki to have advantage on the attack roll if you spend at least 1 ki point on your turn."
- Flurry of Black Stars: No problems with this as well.
- Infuin Kai: Ok as well, but could benefit from better wording.

Thanks for your advice, it was a great inspiration. Do you think it is too much to put the Find Familiar spell as a ritual (Kuchiyose no Jutsu)? For Shurikenjutsu damage was meant like this (1d4 + martial arts die + des) If you have other tips, they are very welcome.--Aanx (talk) 14:20, 18 August 2021 (MDT)
