This is something i thought would be cute and wanted to throw together, if you have any more ideas or opinions for it, please let me know.Summerscythe 10:37, 7 May 2009 (MDT)

Hmmm... Can the plot device control the PC's world as they need it? you know, sort of a "punch in the code, and it happens" type thing? It'd probably be really interesting to fight someone armed with this... PokeDM 12:17, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
No, no... The Plot Device changes the world's makeup to always have been how the Plot Device wishes things to be. It changes space, time, the makeup of the planes and their connections to each other, and whatever else is necessary to make the Plot continue on its predestined course. Personally, I would use this item in a campaign, but I just wouldn't call it the Plot Device. I think there should be a table, three columns, that define the in-game name of the item randomly. The first column would have a prefix, the second column would have the type of item, and the third column would have a suffix. I think of "Progress Quest" as inspiration for the names that the Plot Device could in theory have. --JRCameron 14:49, 21 November 2011 (MST)
