Couldn't the invocations be moved to 5e Warlock Invocations and Boons? SirSprinkles (talk) 23:25, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
- Good point, thank you! I originally added the new invocations along the archetype because, as you can see, these invocations are exclusive to The Shadow Weave patron. I'm adding these invocations to the 5e Warlock Invocations and Boons page. --WeirdoWhoever (talk) 23:56, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
Could you do a version of this for the normal spellcasting rules? 220.233.94.145 03:21, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry about the comments I just made and undoed - I was in a hurry and misunderstood you.
- The Shadow Weave archetype was originally created solely for the purpose of demonstrating the point-based Pact Magic variant rule I made. It was optimized for the variant rule, so making a version of the Shadow Weave patron for normal Pact Magic feature would be challenging. Still, I do think it would be an interesting experience - I'll be working on it. Thanks for the comment! --WeirdoWhoever (talk) 03:57, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- Just added the variant archetype features for normal Pact Magic feature. I'm not sure with the balancing issues, warlock's Pact Magic is one delicate feature to tweak with. Still, I hope you enjoy The Shadow Weave patron with your play! Oh, and if you have any comments or feedbacks to make, please, please feel free to leave them here. Have a nice day, fellow wikian! --WeirdoWhoever (talk) 05:00, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- More edits: This time, the non-variant rule version is the main version. I tweaked some of the features as well. --WeirdoWhoever (talk) 05:57, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
Since to make a spell slot it costs about 1.5 spell points per spell level then it should cost 4 or 5 times the spell level in HP to make a spell slot with Adept of the Shadow. And with Master of the Shadow you shouldn't have it trigger on killing a hostile creature because you could just get a sack of angry rats or whatever and kill them at your leisure, instead have it trigger when you kill any creature but it must have a CR that is at least 1/8 of your level.
