Talk:Summoner, 4th Variant (5e Class)

I’ve been a fan of this class for a while and I was wondering: would the ruling exclude spectral objects, and even a familiar? The wording of find familiar says “You gain the service of a familiar, a spirit that takes the form of an animal of your choice…”. I ask b/c familiars arent extraplanar, but are rather conjured into existence so to speak. Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from someone soon
