Issues[edit]

I will be trying to explain this page's issues and ways to potential solve these issues. First there is the fact that the stunned condition is incredibly strong and making it harder to avoid doesn't seem like a good idea. Beyond that though, there are close to no effects that actually stun creatures that are available as options for pcs. Really there is the monk's 5th level Stunning Strikes and just a few high-level spells like power word stun, divine word, psychic scream, and symbol. Because of these reasons, I don't believe this item is actually usable in its current state, as it is incredibly strong in very specific niche circumstances. Overall, I believe this item may benefit more if it was to be reworked to be a higher rarity and/or do something else. That something else could be stunning a creature once or more (either via casting a stunning spell, a melee range stun like monks, a stun that requires you to spend say 1 minute casting/using the item, etc.), specifically changing this to be a monk item that causing a minor effect when a creature succeeds on the Stunning Strikes, or some other idea of yours. --Blobby383b (talk) 21:56, 13 December 2021 (MST)
