Talk:Soulcrafter (3.5e Class)
Wow. This class is very well done. I really like how there's a version of the soulknife that's ACTUALLY USEFUL lol. It was creative of you to go beyond weapons with keys, but only as long as they've held it before. Although, there are a few things:
I think there should be a link to what the Wild Talent page, since it isn't in the Player's Handbook (or at least not mine, anyway).
You need to specify what types of weapons and armor a Soulcrafter is proficient with. I understand that it replaces the Soulknife class and probably has the same weapon and armor proficiencies, but it would still be nice to see that right here on one page. Eh, but what does an American like me know?
Right now in this campaign, I'm using this class with Druid, and the DM is letting me make exotic weapons. Is this your intention? Since your replacement of the Soulknife isn't item-specific, it took me a ton of convincing and a couple sodas to get my DM to let me do this.
That and really just pooling other stuff from the Soulknife that would be actually worth keeping.
Rating: 16/20[edit]
Balance - 4/5 I give this class a 4 out of 5 because it's so good it might actually be kinda OP. Hello, Druid/Soulcaster with exotic proficiency in dire flails, you can now use that exotic weapon without it ever being in your inventory --LegendaryPwny (talk) 18:09, 10 July 2013 (MDT)
Wording - 4/5 I give this class a 4 out of 5 because there are a lot of sections where it still has the original directions for when making a new class page (but that's more for formatting), and there aren't links to some of the ability descriptions in this class, i.e. Wild Talent --LegendaryPwny (talk) 18:09, 10 July 2013 (MDT)
Formatting - 3/5 I give this class a 3 out of 5 because some sections have a title and then nothing under it. I can understand if you meant for it to be the same as the Soulknife, but at least say "Same as Soulknife" and then have the link for Soulknife on the word "Soulknife". --LegendaryPwny (talk) 18:09, 10 July 2013 (MDT)
Flavor - 5/5 I give this class a 5 out of 5 because it sounds pretty flumping awesome. --LegendaryPwny (talk) 18:09, 10 July 2013 (MDT)
