Favored Enemy[edit]

There is a favored enemy: arcanists or something like that (I forget where -- I'll look for it) that should apply to anything that casts spell like abilities or spells. That is basically every high level monster that matters. --Aarnott 04:50, 15 July 2009 (MDT)

It is located in Complete Mage. -Sarrow 06:04, 15 July 2009 (MDT)

Multiclassing XP penalty[edit]

Ranger is not the favored class for Elves so the difference between the Ranger and Scout levels would drop your XP gain by 20% which would slow down leveling and gameplay. If you swap the race to Human instead of Elf you can ignore this and use your bonus feat as a Human to take -Vow of Chastity- in the BoEF and pop a +2 to your DEX to compensate for that, in addition there are quite a few spells and items that can give you the low-light vision so the only real difference at that point would be a higher CON and your character sleeps more while not getting shafted for XP. If, however, you're just making it at a specific level for a one-shot run then it's perfectly fine.

Wild Elf --Ganre 23:23, 13 March 2011 (MDT)

A better race for this would be catfolk (RotW 92). they have a fovored class of ranger, and have a base movement speed of 40ft. In addition, they get +4 to Dex, which helps for attack rolls and AC. Plus, they only have a level adjustment of +1

Travel Devotion[edit]

Great feat for Swift Hunter builds. Allows you to move as a swift action for one minute once a day. Dip a level of Cloistered Cleric and you can pick up the Knowledge and Travel Devotion feats, which are both super fluffy.

Magic damage?[edit]

I am not very experinced with D&D so can anyone tell me where the 5d6+5 (magic) damage comes from?

arrow +5 , bow +5 (if not using splitting)

where does the 5d6 come from? +5 is from bow enchant right? but where is that 5d6??
