Talk:Shinobi World Creature Preload
From D&D Wiki
Purpose[edit]
If this is just meant to be a temporary template, you should probably just have this as a page on your own user page. --PJammaz (talk) 23:22, 24 April 2020 (MDT)
- Maybe my interpretation is wrong, but I’ve always assumed that user pages are for exclusive use and editing by a single user. As this setting has unique mechanics, and the standard creature preload is greatly lacking in certain quality of life changes, this is intended to be used by more than just me. Also, after some thought, this probably shouldn’t be temporary as we never know when new creatures will need to be added to this setting. --Ref3rence (talk) 11:04, 25 April 2020 (MDT)
- I assumed that this was just for your personal use. If this intended to be used by other users, it should be more similar to 5e Creature Preload. For instance, it shouldn't have the (5e Creature) identifier and it shouldn't have all those errors popping up. --PJammaz (talk) 11:40, 25 April 2020 (MDT)
- I will move it shortly, but I disagree with your second statement. The errors are there because fields are filled with descriptions of what they’re used for rather than valid information to make it more friendly to newer users. --Ref3rence (talk) 11:50, 25 April 2020 (MDT)
- You can do that, you just need to use the <nowiki> tag to prevent it from throwing errors. --PJammaz (talk) 11:58, 25 April 2020 (MDT)
