Calculating CR

• Hit points: 30 hp (CR 1/8).
• AC is 19 + 1 (Defensive Reflex) + 1 (shieldwall with one ally) = 21. This is a difference of 6 from the expected AC. We adjust the DCR up by (8÷2) = 3 so it is going to be (CR 4)
• Defensive Challenge Rating: 4 + 1/8 = (CR 4)
• Best average damage for one round is 14 (two attacks with a longsword). (14 + 14 + 14) ÷ 3 = (14). This gives us an OCR of 1 and an expected attack bonus of +3.
• The actual attack bonus is +6, and plus the Pack Tactics +1. so we adjust the OCR up by (4÷2) = 2.
• Offensive Challenge Rating: (CR 3)
• Final CR is (4 + 3)÷2 = (3.5) So we can say it is (CR 3).
