Talk:Seraphim (5e Race)

I felt as though some of the other "Angel" races were not balanced properly, nor did they fit a pacifist, peaceful creature as depicted in Biblical sources and renaissance art. Suggestions/ideas are welcome.

It might be because I'm fairly new to this, but a few things look a bit out of place to me. The Superior Darkvision trait being there without any traits to balance it out like a Drow does, added to flight which is, like said about Aarakocras, already really powerful on its own. And I might be looking a bit too far into this, but isn't the permanent shield of faith really powerful for unarmored Monks and all? It might be only two AC, but added to unarmored defense traits of a few classes, two is a lot as a permanent effect, in my opinion. Though like I said, I'm new to these things, so my opinion on the matter might be unreliable. --Fenshin (talk) 12:54, 21 August 2018 (MDT)

I believe you are right, the combination of several incredibly powerful traits on top of a +4 abi makes the race strictly better than other 1st party races. I will tweak a few things and we can go from there(I believe the +2 permanent AC is by far the worst offender so that and 1 abi will be removed).--Blobby383b (talk) 13:14, 21 August 2018 (MDT)
