For those of you confused on understanding how background features work, every single background feature is vaguely (yes even the ones in the PBH) it is intentional as it is ment to give an idea of how it works with the DM having the final say on what you can and can't do. In regards to being better than Noble and/or Folk Hero backgrounds, it makes sense that it would as nobility's highest title normal refers to a lord/lady which historically falls under the rule of prince/princess, king/queen ect. and as Folk Hero points out you are normally a member of said community.

Use the Noble background from the Player's Handbook. This Royalty background is borked. I'm going to revert it to an earlier version. Marasmusine (talk) 09:11, 4 November 2023 (MDT)
