Lord of the Rings???

Sorry, but this ring sounds alot like the "one ring" from J. R. R. Tolkein's Lord of the Rings. What with the indestructability, turning you evil, and the only way to destroy it being to throw it into chaos. In the book the "one ring" turns you evil, is indestuctable, and you have to throw it into this volcano to destroy it. Sound similar? Any ways I don't mean to be rude, but it sounds the same. --Io 10:46, 7 August 2009 (MDT)
