Talk:Rift Weaver (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
- Reactive teleporting: A reaction has to have a trigger. What's the trigger? It says I can cast any teleportation spell. Does this mean spells I have gained through the weaver class feature? (and not, say, plane shift at 1st level). If so you should word this as "rift weaver spell you know". At 14th level, it seems like I use less TP to get the extra attack?
- Planar sight: does this only work with overlapping planes (i.e. ethereal), or can I look into a disparate plane (e.g. Limbo)? If the latter, where in that plane do I look at?
- Imbue teleport: If you use this against an unwilling creature, should they get a saving throw?
- Instant teleportation: I can already cast an "action" teleportation spell as a bonus action, using reactive teleportation, and for 2 TP instead of 3 TP. What does "teleported distance up to doubled for 3 TP and costs half as much TP to use (round up)." mean? I halve the TP cost then add 3?
- Woven: please don't do round-counting effects. Have it last 1 minute (approx. 1 combat encounter) or 10 minutes (approx. 1 exploration turn). What do you mean "without consequences"?
- Planar Incarnate: "double proficiency on checks" - skill checks? ability checks? grapple checks?
- Planar calling: If another PC or NPC can speak one of those languages, can I call them? How is the summoned creature controlled? Remove the round counting (most battles are over after 4 to 6 rounds anyway).
- I'll look at the other archetypes another time. Marasmusine (talk) 03:38, 25 November 2015 (MST)
