Talk:Rebellion (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
The magical item has a just some of the problems listed below
- What does +2 represent?
- How can a greatsword be thrown, and if it could be, the weapon should say something along the lines of this weapon has the thrown (range 20/60) property. Also, throwing a weapon requires an attack not the whole Attack action and the weapon suddenly shouldn't deal different damage.
- The spinning property is unclear, not powerful enough to warrant having the property, and as a whole unneeded. Some of its problems include: how did you manage to throw a greatsword onto a creature's chest, what if they don't have a chest, when is the Strength check made and how is it made, why does the weapon deal damage to other creatures when it returns to you, and cutting off fingers because a sword is in you doesn't make any sense.
- Finally, you shouldn't be able to hold a greatsword in one hand, that isn't how the versatile property works(the mundane weapon only has the property), and a +4 bonus by itself is enough for a legendary weapon.--Blobby383b (talk) 14:57, 6 May 2018 (MDT)
