Keen Senses What does "you gain the perception skill" actually mean. Does this mean that I am proficient in the perception skill? --Blackkirby73 (talk) 17:30, 4 May 2016 (MDT)

Hi, BlackKirby73. Alas, someone has butchered the rat folk FAR beyond what I originally had. Keen Senses is an elf trait that granted proficiency in the Perception skill and wasn't used in the original version of the rat folk. The original had dark vision, 35 ft. speed, proficiency with Sleight of Hand, 5 ft. needed to stand from prone (10 ft. in heavy armor), and +2 initiative. The Windfoot had one step increase on weapon damage dice in the first round of combat (I'm going to change it to a +2 bonus instead), and the Shadowfur had the ability to hide in dim light. Hope that clarifies. --Hanzo187 (talk) 11:50, 11 July 2016 (MDT)

Scurry[edit]

I like the premise of this feature, but I think it might be a little too helpful and removes a degree of potential interaction and punishment available for players who are too brazen or simply caught out of position. I recommend changing it to one of the following:

- When you are the target of an opportunity attack, you can use your reaction to

  • impose disadvantage on the attack roll.
OR[edit]
  • gain a +2 bonus to your AC against opportunity attacks until the start of your next turn.

Another approach could be: When you take the Dash action, all opportunity attacks against you are rolled with disadvantage. I hope this helps some. Other than that small thing though, I really like the idea and mechanics presented here. Good work bud.--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 20:22, 15 April 2019 (MDT)
