Would like to point out for the base attack the last two could be +10 without a problem the +15 is catering to people who don't bother to actually try with their character but expect to pump out huge damage without effort. Hell at 20 I can optimize a fighter or even a monk (SRD class not a varient) to hit in the 50s without a whole lot of effort. Even dragons of the appropriate level or higher are rarely difficult to hit if you optimize your gear. Tivanir 09:39, 10 April 2012 (MDT)
- And in the inevitable chance someone comes to this page and goes "No it doesn't" you average fighter at 20th level will have a minimum of the following 16 strength girdle of giant strength +6 weapon focus bonuses (or even higher if using tome feats) +4 weapons and if they are smart a ring of divine favor +3 (this is a created item for a luck bonus on hit and damage and is cheap to create on the order of 72k for every single physical attack getting a boost) now with those numbers your bonus to hit sits at 30 for second through forth attacks on the character. To put this in perspective the Balor has an AC of 35, which means unless you are abysmal at rolling everything every round will likely connect. I don't mind them having an even chance (hence +10/+10) but a fighter shouldn't be able to connect 8 (tome two weapon fighting) times every single round with poor rolls. Running a fighter with decent health against a balor at 20 (especially the tome fighter) will result in you killing one nearly every time without taking much if any damage. In short I think it just needs to be adjusted. Tivanir (talk) 09:43, 25 May 2012 (MDT)
