Talk:Planebreaker (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
hey camotan i just browsed through your class and found it to be slightly off balance, as it gives access to a much improved version of an 8th level spell at 6th level. also mechanics and balancing need some work, along with the flavoring.
Hello, Camotan. I'm Agrith. I was actually the one who originally created this class and love how you've made it. Thank you. Now, it's certainly your class, but it could be better worded. If you don't mind, I'd like to rewrite it. Is that okay? Agrith (talk) 13:07, 24 April 2018 (MDT)
- I rewrote a small section. If you don't like it, feel free to change it back. If you do, I can rewrite the rest. Agrith (talk) 08:20, 13 May 2018 (MDT)
Hello, I am SuperGenX. I think the Planebreaker Class is a very unique class, however it was just missing something that could help the entire party and get the rest of the players involved. I added an ability to Planar Knowledge so that a Planebreaker could bring their party with them, should they choose to do so.
- Please stop trying to give this class features better than Epic Boons. ~ BigShotFancyMan (talk) 16:06, 3 January 2019 (MST)
- BigShotFancyMan is right. Boon of Planar Travel, which is normally given as a reward for something important after the player is level 20 and thus is unable to get stronger without magic items, allows the user to use plane shift, but only on themself, to travel to a specific plane, chosen when getting the boon, or back to the Material Plane from that plane, but it requires a short rest to use again.
