Talk:Paragon (5e Subclass)

I like the paragon as an alternative to the BM. Without the fiddy dice.

Couple of suggestions...

Would artful dodger be better served by just making the doge effort easier? Since dodge already imposes disadvantage on attacks, how about this removes the Dex Save, and allows dodging with 0 speed?

Deceptive Stance, when would you use this? I'm not sure what this stance accomplishes. Maybe you're trying to stop their attack with a mighty parry? What if the attack the Paragon makes cancels the opponents attack completely? (I suppose that might be OP) Then it would serve one well if they were going up against an opponent who could outlast them in a one-on-one slog. It could be used to bide one's time until reinforcements arrive, or an escape plan could be devised.

Weighted Perisistance: I think giving advantage vs the +2 feels more like 5e.

I like all the options you included. Nice work.

At first seems really cool, I'm gonna read more on that later--SpikeSunshine (talk) 11:56, 14 March 2022 (MDT)

I read more and yeah, it is really cool, but seems like a alternate Battlemaster --SpikeSunshine (talk) 13:03, 14 March 2022 (MDT)
