Talk:Pack Leader (5e Feat)

Love the rework! I removed the prerequisite and the short rest limitation on the granting advantage to make it a more viable option. It now several features like Mastermind rogue's Help Action as a bonus action, but still less powerful than the Wolf totem Barbarian. It's also kind of like the reverse of the Protection fighting style. I would go as far as to make it apply to any attack, not just melee attacks (like Kobold's pack tactics and Protection do), but what do you think?

Thanks for the comment! I found this page was abandoned for like half a year, so I did the "rework" as I found fit. I acknowledge and thank for your edit, this seems powering up the feat as it should be. I'm not sure with applying it to any attacks, not only because I'm not sure with all the balancing issues and all, but also since I benchmarked the Pack Tactics from wolves and kobolds, and since they don't have ranged attacks, I thought it would be more appropriate for "pack" gimmicks. Again, thanks for the edit, and feel free to edit as you find fit! --WeirdoWhoever (talk) 03:26, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
Kobold's actually DO have slings as one of their attacks, but you bring up a good point. It it certainly makes more sense thematically to limit it to melee attacks. I don't think it would be gamebreaking to include any attack, but only playtesting can truly tell. I guess we're probably fine leaving it as is. --Carcabob (talk) 15:11, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
