I thought that deflect arrows was only aplicable if you have a free hand, and lots of fighters, specificaly ones with STR 17 or higher, like to use 2h weps to maximize the amount of damage they can put out, so to speak. So, why not add additional pre-reqs to this feat, your call, and add that this feat can be used with a 2h wep? Just a thought, really, as my fighters want to give out as much damage as they possibly can, and dont want to sacrifice a single point of it for anything.
Well, I dunno. I had a fighter a while back who insisted on wielding two shields, one as a weapon and the other for defense, and he had 18 strength. But yes, deflecting projectiles require an open hand, however, if they already have deflect arrows, it would be safe to assume they'll have a free hand most, if not all, of the time.
