Talk:Overresearched (3.5e Trait)
From D&D Wiki
Length[edit]
This flaw is a lot too complicated and convoluted. The poor DM who has to remember what it does if a player takes it. I suggest you reduce it down to the important core effect. The maximum for a feat or flaw should be 100 words. --Mkill 06:35, 8 August 2007 (MDT)
- First off there is not limit on the length of anything. Be as creative as you want. Secondly, I would try to merge these together. If you have everything the same on the shortened version I would recommend deleting this, however, if they are not the same, I would add all the content that is not the same from this onto the shortened version and go from there. Sorry about the rude comment above, please do not hesitate to be creative. Finally, what do you plan to do? Are you planning on merging them, or what is the idea? --Green Dragon 14:54, 11 August 2007 (MDT)
- Green Dragon, you're overdoing it. Really. Is this a wiki where other users review things and point out how they can be improved or is this a gamer self-help meeting engaged in spontaneous and scheduled group hugging? If I think something is good, I say "this is good". If something is bad, I say "this is bad." Obviously my criticism improved things on this flaw. Really. --Mkill 06:48, 12 August 2007 (MDT)
- Eh. I'll probably just put back the original at the bottom or something. Or maybe the condensed version at the bottom. He's got a point, it's a little long. I have that kind of problem, I tend to drag things out because that's my train of thought, not because I think that's how it should end up. Pwnester 00:55, 14 August 2007 (MDT)
- All I am saying is that it is not really all that good to have two things that are the same content on D&D Wiki... However, it is okay. If this is how you want it I guess this is how it will stay. --Green Dragon 11:33, 14 August 2007 (MDT)
