Calculating CR[edit]
- Hit points: 133 hp (CR 5).
- AC is 18 + 1 (Parry) = 19. This is a difference of 4 from the expected AC. We adjust the DCR up by (4÷2) = 2 so it is going to be (CR 2)
- Defensive Challenge Rating: (CR 7)
- Best average damage for one round is 5 (with a spear or a shortsword). So we factor that in by taking the average over three rounds. (5 + 5 + 5) ÷ 3 = (5). This gives us an OCR of 1/4 and an expected attack bonus of +2. Plus the Pack Tactics +1.
- The actual attack bonus is +2. so we adjust the OCR up by (2÷2) = 1.
- Offensive Challenge Rating: (CR 1 1/4)
- Final CR is (3 1/4 + 1 1/4)÷2 = (2.25) So we can say it is (CR 2).
