Hi Marasmusine, I will try to make the CR for this creature, if you think that it need more work tell me. I will try first by myself then will see:

  • Hit points: 171 hp * 1.25 (damage resistances) = 214 (CR 10)
  • AC is 20 + 2 (from magic resistance) = 22. This is a difference of 2 from the expected AC. We adjust the DCR up by (2÷2) = 1 (CR 1)
  • Defensive Challenge Rating: (CR 11)
  • Best average damage for one round is 66 (two Halberd attacks with radiant damage). The movanic does get a bonus attack, once, so we factor that in by taking the average over three rounds. (66 + 66 + 66 + 33) ÷ 3 = (77). This gives us an OCR of 12 and an expected attack bonus of +8.
  • The actual attack bonus is +4, so we adjust the OCR up by (4÷2) = 2.
  • Offensive Challenge Rating: (CR 14)
  • Final CR is (11+14)÷2 = (12.5) so we can say that CR 13.
The effective AC is 17 + 2 (from magic resistance) = 19. This adjusts the DCR to 11. (Alternately you can lower the AC to 15 for a DCR of 10)
I can't see where the bonus attack is. If there isn't one, then the DCR is 8 and an expected attack of +7.
Your actual attack is +9, a difference of 2, so the DCR is adjusted up 1 to 9.
The final CR is 10, which is what you have anyway, so that's good. Marasmusine (talk) 11:11, 18 April 2015 (MDT)
No, the +9 is with strength added to it. Now the actual attack is +8 because of the proficiency +5 because (CR 13) and strength +3, but with the the movanic have a +5 strength. Azernath (talk) 15:44, 19 April 2015 (MDT)
