Talk:Martial Cognoscente (3.5e Prestige Class)

Regarding Calculating Opportunist[edit]
I like the idea behind this Prestige Class. However, does Calculating Opportunist stack with Combat Reflexes, allowing the Combat Savant to gain a number of Attacks of Opportuniy equal to her Int modifier and her Dex modifier? --TK-Squared 12:50, 19 March 2008 (MDT)
- Good point, that's not clear right now. I didn't intend for the two to stack. --Eardatch 13:56, 19 March 2008 (MDT)
- I changed calculating opportunist so that it only modifies the combat reflexes feat (now a prerequisite for the class) so that it gives the option of using int instead of dex. Cuts down its feat equlivants a bit. --Eardatch 07:48, 27 April 2008 (MDT)
Peanut Gallery[edit]
Int-er-est-ing...Some of these abilities remind me of the spirit of the Fighter, Tome (3.5e Class). Anyway, played by a decent tactician, it should be pretty confounding to go up against, given all the maneuver dancing it'd be doing. --Genowhirl 12:23, 12 January 2009 (MST)
- Added some fluff and updated the Tactical Advantage ability, now called Level Playing Field, so that it requires an appropriate knowledge check. --Eardatch 12:41, 12 January 2009 (MST)
- Name changed to Martial Cognoscente so as to avoid confusion with the true20 class. --Eardatch 10:35, 14 January 2009 (MST)
