Talk:Mana Potion (5e Equipment)

Hello fellow user who created this home brew item, I am just curious if there is a easier or more detailed explanation of what you mean that you need to exceed the levels recovered. Is that implying for example, if your highest level spell is 3rd level and you roll a 4 or above you avoid the psychic damage? I mean I would think for limitation purposes it would make sense that 1d6 damage be applied to a user who take's a mana potion before a long rest. (Due to mana energy overdose reasons.)
