Balence issues[edit]

A few things need to be tweaked, firstly it should still force an armor check penalty even if it has no arcane spell failure. Second, it probably should cost a bit more... probably around 750 gold. Third I'm assuming you're keeping it at light armor... maybe you can avoid the above problems by making it medium armor so that most spellcasters have to burn a feat to wear it effectively.--Gruegirl 14:36, 7 January 2008 (MST)

750 gold? Is that what you meant? :P Yeah, this might be rad if fleshed out a bit more. What is "Magorian," for example? Can it be used to create other types of armour, or can this alloy (mithril+magorian) only be used to create this one type of armour? This might work better as a extraordinary crafting material, rather than a type of armour. Just a thought.--Othtim 20:21, 15 February 2008 (MST)
Since obsidian cant be smelted, I would suggest calling it powdered obsidian instead. That way it'd be similar to how they mix in different molecules in specialized alloys. One real life example of this is how high impact glass has steel molecules mixed into it for added strength.
