Musicus Meter
Score: 6
This race has a score of 6 according to the Musicus Meter race guidelines. With this metric, first-party races' scores range from 4.5 to 8. This is a guideline, not a rule, and it's important to use your own judgment alongside this scoring.
This scoring may be the groundwork for a focused {{needsbalance}} usage. A contributor to this page may request a detailed breakdown of this page's balance. Without this information, {{needsbalance}} may then be removed. This meter cannot be the sole basis for a needsbalance template, but may be included as an accessory to a wider discussion of a race's balance.
This template should only be placed on a race's talk page. If this template is not placed on the talk page, please move it.

This one was actually requested by a coworker and was fun to make.

Bloody Eyes is a reference to the TCG and is a shortened version of the ability on Lycanroc GX's card called Bloodthirsty Eyes (or Blood Eyes in Japanese). Originally it was just going to give proficiency in intimidation, but I figured it would be odd if a features involving eyes didn't involve proficiency in perception. Or course, I did something perception related with Odor Sleuth because, well, Lycanroc is a dog so it seemed natural.

Counter is actually from the official Viashino race, which uses it's tail as an unarmed attack as a reaction, with some minor changes.

Fangs of the Elements is pretty much Tyrouge's Fist of the Elements, except the reason it can only deal fire or lightning damage and not ice is because Lycanroc is only capable of knowing fire fang and thunder fang, but not ice fang.

It's speed is actually a reference to Lycanroc's stat block, as Lycanroc's midnight form has the slowest speed, plus given how it taunts enemies into fighting and favors counters made the reduction make sense (to me at least). --MetalShadowOverlord (talk) 02:20, 2 February 2019 (MST)
