Talk:Light as a Feather (3.5e Feat)

This feat is the most useless I've ever seen... Feather Fall let's you go down 60 ft. per round, Levitate only 20 ft. ... okay. But considering that Levitate has a 1 minute per level duration, which is 10 times as much as Feather Fall, you cover 200 up to ft. per level instead of 60 ft. And of course, Levitate allows you to go up, and you can use it on objects and other people. So basicly, this feat allows you to cast a worse spell instead... --Mkill 11:09, 17 July 2007 (MDT)

Levitate requires a standard action. Feather fall is a free action that can be cast when it isn't your turn. This is useful if you've just fallen down a pit trap. Marasmusine (talk) 02:56, 22 November 2014 (MST)
