9 balls circling? I'd make it an action to attack with them, increase damage at higher levels instead of number of balls and remove the 8th level stuff. You COULD add, any melee attack against you requires a dexterity save or be hit by a ball and take xd6 damage from one of the balls. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 07:55, 18 December 2017 (MST)

The idea behind the spell was to complement other attack actions with spells, so I want to leave it as a bonus action. However, I've removed the 8th level stuff and added your suggestion.

sorry for template add and subsequent removal. I thought doing spell damage as bonus action that had scaling damage would be too strong BUT THIS doesn’t scale the damage. I think it is better now. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 17:26, 5 May 2018 (MDT)
