Talk:Jeweled Choker (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
The fact that the item turns you into a demon known for its sexual acts and you are forced to obey someone called "master", who is capable of inflicting pain towards you if you disobey his commands, should make the Adult Theme template relevant in my opinion. in addition, a succubus is a powerful creature. Having an obedient creature that can use dominate person can easily be abused as a PC. --Doctor Dee (talk) 04:59, 16 February 2019 (MST) agreed
balancing attempts. Here my notes how i would balance this. first things first: concubus have no set sex. So not the form of a female succubus. Second, lets remove the tattoos. Third, they are way more useful as spies than the probably intended use, with their ability to travel to the etheral plane and shapechanging skills. Next, one has to remember that they have draining kiss, so it's extremely risky to let one near you, unless you want to be drained to death. You still have an item that transforms its victim into a powerful, obedient monster and can torture them wherever they are. Unlikely to be balanced. More nerfing. The controller can cast inflinct wounds and suggestion once a day. The transformation is unbalanced as it is. It is now an item for untrustworthy henchman and spies you send somewhere far away instead of a trap for hapless adventurers. The control chocker should probably disintegrate once the attuned person is killed and the lasting transformation should be both reversible and without specific abilities. This prevents player from doing too much harm should they ever get the slavers chocker. --Doctor Dee (talk) 01:32, 24 February 2019 (MST)
Resurrection instead of remove curse[edit]
Concerning the last edit, why was the spell changed to resurrection? It is stated in the description that of the spell that it can not remove curses. --Doctor Dee (talk) 02:06, 1 March 2019 (MST)
