Talk:Invincible Monk (3.5e Optimized Character Build)
From D&D Wiki
Two things-One monk AC counts towards touch and flat footed AC unless the monk is helpless. Two this class will lose to anything flying that decides to not touch the ground as monks have no non ground combat skills. Tivanir (talk) 13:59, 28 May 2012 (MDT)
- That, and Forsaker is a 3.0 class. Calling this invincible is a bit of a misnomer, High AC builds fall short when they cannot provide the battlefield control to force the enemy to focus on them. Sure, the Balor will have a slightly harder time dealing with you one on one, but he's going to eat the guy with banishment first anyways, Gate in a couple of buddies, and then grab you with the whip, and play tether ball with the monk. --Ganre (talk) 09:02, 29 May 2012 (MDT)
Also, the Exalted bonuses to AC apply while flat-footed and the touch...they only don't apply against certain kinds of attacks. Also,Vow and Forsaker are contradictory. the Vow, like all Exalted feats, is a supernatural feat, i.e. magical. So this build doesn't even work...
