Calculating CR[edit]

  • Hit points: 91 hp (CR 2)
  • AC is 18 + 1 = 19 This is a difference of 6 from the expected AC. We adjust the DCR up by (6÷2) = 3 (CR 3)
  • Defensive Challenge Rating: (CR 5)
  • Best average damage for one round is 30 (three longsword attacks). The honor guard does get a bonus attack, once, so we factor that in by taking the average over three rounds. (30 + 30 + 30 + 10) ÷ 3 = (33). This gives us an OCR of 6 and an expected attack bonus of +3.
  • The actual attack bonus is +6 and +1 from Pack Tactics, so we adjust the OCR up by (7÷2) = 3.5
  • Offensive Challenge Rating: (CR 8.5)
  • Final CR is (5 + 8.5)÷2 =6.75 so we can say (CR 7)
I make the OCR 5. I'm not sure what the bonus attack is, but even then 33 damage and attack +7 is ocr 5. Marasmusine (talk) 10:35, 20 March 2019 (MDT)
