Bounts[edit]
Hello there! I have looked at this class and found it pretty interesting. However, I do have some questions about the bounts part of the class, more specifically dolls. This may be a case of bad memory of my part, but wasn't the dolls simply summoned by them? From what I can read in the class you can only become a Doll. I do remember Kariya (probably wrote his name wrong) fused with his doll, but I think it would be an interesting mechanic to allow you to have a physical doll and not just use their abilities. I'm sorry if I sound overly critical, I just found it interesting how you used stuff not from the main 4 "races". Xandelicious (talk) 16:51, 25 October 2024 (MDT)
- Sorry for the delay, somehow this slipped by me. Dolls have a will of their own, and are even able to turn on their masters as seen with Ritz. If one player controls the Bount and the Doll this doesn't happen, but if the player controls the Bount and the DM controls the Doll that puts a lot more responsibility on the DM. Because of this, I decided that the best way would be if one player plays the Bount while another player plays the Doll, though this has its own problems. I'll probably rewrite the Doll features once I make creature pages for the Bounts (maybe it goes berserk if you lose concentration).--Ref3rence (talk) 22:00, 31 October 2024 (MDT)
- Hello once again. I do think creating creature sheets for dolls and making it go berserk if it loses concentration is the best way to go, since most people that want to play bounts would like to command the doll instead of becoming one. Of course, this does create a small problem with action economy and stuff, however I believe that one additional round in initiative wouldn't be gamebreaking to the point of making combats unplayable. Thanks for responding to me, I am excited to see what you'll do with the 5th, 10th, 20th, 30th and 40th level features. Xandelicious (talk) 21:13, 1 November 2024 (MDT)
