Talk:Hexagunner, Variant (3.5e Class)

Rating[edit]
Power - 2/5 I give this class a 2 out of 5. Steady Aim should use a full-round action. Slug Shot also seems a bit much, especially as a line. What's its range? Additionally, Sidestep shouldn't be fast movement, but should allow the Hexagunner to move up to half of the listed bonus movement while making a Steady Aim attack. --Siosilvar 15:52, 24 August 2009 (MDT)
- Seriously, full round action? As an attack action, even if you were dual-wielding light crossbows it is +60d6 (maybe 70d6 or whatever with haste or 90d6 if you multiclass for more BAB) at 20th level. Comparably, a rogue with TWF gets ranged touch attacks (acid flasks/alchemist's fire) that do the same thing (Hexagunner might too, it's unclear what 'chosen ranged weapon' means) and eight attacks at +10d6 per, with another +10d6 for haste, coming out to the same 90d6. Are you going to argue that the rogue is broken, too? -- Jota 20:55, 24 August 2009 (MDT)
Wording - 5>/5 I give this class a 5 out of 5 because it's quite easily legible and everything seems to make sense. --Siosilvar 15:52, 24 August 2009 (MDT)
Formatting - 4/5 I give this class a 4 out of 5 because everything looks good; increment is regularly spelled as "incriment", however. --Siosilvar 15:52, 24 August 2009 (MDT)
Flavor - 5/5 I give this class a 5 out of 5 because it deserves it. :p --Siosilvar 15:52, 24 August 2009 (MDT)
